1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply unless the context requires otherwise:

"hauwelle," "we," "us," or "our" refers to hauwelle, a watch repair business located at 7 Jalan Hang Kasturi, 50050 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

"User," "you," or "your" refers to any individual who accesses our website or engages our services.

"Services" refers to the watch repair, maintenance, and cosmetic care services offered by hauwelle, including Full Movement Service, Crown and Stem Replacement, and Cosmetic Detailing.

"Website" refers to the hauwelle website located at https://hauwelle.club.

"Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions together with any service quote or documentation provided to you.


2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our website or services.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services or submit information through our website. By engaging with us, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.


3. Description of Services

hauwelle provides professional watch repair and maintenance services from our workshop in Kuala Lumpur. Our current service offerings include full movement servicing, crown and stem replacement, and cosmetic detailing. Service availability may vary depending on parts sourcing, caliber compatibility, and workshop capacity. We reserve the right to decline a service request if we determine the work falls outside our area of competence or if the required parts cannot be sourced within a reasonable timeframe.


4. Service Process and Agreements

Assessment: When you bring a timepiece to our workshop, we conduct an initial examination and document its condition. Based on this assessment, we provide a written quote outlining the recommended work, estimated cost, and approximate timeline.

Approval: No work is carried out until you have reviewed and approved the quote. Your approval constitutes acceptance of the quoted scope and cost.

Additional findings: If, during the course of the service, we discover additional issues not covered in the original quote, we will contact you before proceeding. Any additional work requires your explicit consent and may adjust the final cost and timeline.

Completion: Once the service is complete, we notify you that the watch is ready for collection. Watches must be collected within 30 days of the completion notification. We reserve the right to charge a storage fee for uncollected items after this period.


5. Pricing and Payment

All prices quoted are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are based on the scope of work identified during the initial assessment. Prices shown on our website represent standard rates and may vary depending on the specific condition and requirements of individual timepieces.

Payment is due upon collection of the serviced timepiece. We accept cash, bank transfer, and major credit and debit cards. In the event that additional work was approved during the service, the final invoice will reflect the adjusted total.

hauwelle does not offer refunds for completed services. If you are dissatisfied with the result, please contact us within 14 days of collection so we can assess and, where appropriate, address the concern.


6. Warranties and Limitations

hauwelle provides a service warranty on completed work. The warranty period is 6 months from the date of collection for full movement servicing and crown and stem replacement, and 30 days for cosmetic detailing. The warranty covers defects attributable to our workmanship or materials used during the service.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidental impact, water exposure beyond the watch's rated resistance, unauthorised modifications by third parties, or normal wear and tear following the service.

Our services are provided with reasonable skill and care. However, we do not provide assurances regarding specific timekeeping tolerances beyond the standard acceptable range for the movement type, nor do we warrant outcomes for pre-existing conditions not identified during the initial assessment.


7. User Responsibilities

When using our website, you agree to provide accurate and complete information in any forms you submit. You must not use our website for any unlawful purpose, attempt to interfere with the website's functionality, or submit false or misleading enquiries.

When engaging our services, you are responsible for disclosing any known issues or history relevant to the timepiece, collecting the watch within the specified period, and making timely payment upon completion.


8. Intellectual Property

All content on the hauwelle website — including text, images, logos, design elements, and code — is the property of hauwelle or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on our website without our prior written consent.

You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to access and view the website content for personal, non-commercial purposes.


9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, hauwelle's total liability arising out of or in connection with the services or these terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of use, data, or profits, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.


10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold hauwelle harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these terms, your misuse of our website, or any inaccurate information you provide to us.


11. Force Majeure

hauwelle shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, supply chain disruptions, or utility failures.


12. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement at any time prior to commencement of work. If you cancel after work has begun, you may be responsible for costs already incurred, including parts sourced and labour performed up to the point of cancellation.

hauwelle reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the website if we believe you have breached these terms.


13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

14. General Provisions

Entire agreement: These terms, together with any approved service quote, constitute the entire agreement between you and hauwelle regarding the subject matter herein.

Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.


15. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our website or services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
