Our Methodology
How Every Service Begins
No matter which service your watch requires, the process starts the same way. We examine the timepiece using our diagnostic tools, document its current condition with photographs, and discuss our findings with you directly. Only after you have reviewed and approved the written quote do we proceed with any work.
This approach takes a little more time upfront, but it eliminates confusion later. You know what is being done, what parts are involved, what the cost will be, and roughly how long it will take. If anything changes during the service — for instance, if we discover additional wear once the movement is opened — you are notified before we continue.
Service 01
Full Movement Service
Comprehensive maintenance for mechanical and quartz calibers. The watch is disassembled to its individual components, each one inspected, cleaned, and evaluated. Worn parts — gaskets, springs, click mechanisms — are replaced as needed. The movement is reassembled with fresh synthetic lubricants applied to all friction points, then regulated over multiple positions. A final quality check verifies rate accuracy, power reserve for mechanical movements, and overall function.
Typical Timeline: 10–21 working days
Service 02
Crown & Stem Replacement
Addresses issues with the winding and time-setting mechanism. Common symptoms include a loose or detached crown, difficulty pulling to the setting position, or gritty winding action. The service includes removal of the existing crown and stem assembly, sourcing of a compatible replacement matched to the caliber and case specifications, and installation with proper sealing. The keyless works inside the movement are inspected and cleaned during the process. Water resistance is retested after reassembly where applicable.
Typical Timeline: 5–14 working days (dependent on part sourcing)
Service 03
Cosmetic Detailing
A surface-level care service focused on returning the external appearance of your watch to a well-maintained condition. Includes ultrasonic cleaning of the case and bracelet, polishing of the crystal (acrylic or mineral), removal of light surface scratches using appropriate abrasive techniques, and a final inspection of all external seals. This service does not involve opening the caseback or touching the movement, making it a suitable option for timepieces in good mechanical health that simply need a visual refresh.
Typical Timeline: 1 working day
