Crown & Stem Replacement

Cosmetic detailing service

Cosmetic Detailing

A surface-level care service for watches in good mechanical health that need a visual refresh. Includes ultrasonic cleaning of case and bracelet, crystal polishing, light scratch removal, and inspection of all external seals. The caseback stays sealed — no movement work involved. Typically completed within one working day.

How long does a full movement service take?
Depending on the complexity of the caliber and whether parts need to be sourced, a full movement service typically takes between 10 and 21 working days. We will give you an estimated timeline after the initial assessment.
Do you work on all watch brands?
We service a wide range of brands, from everyday mechanical watches to higher-end Swiss and Japanese calibers. If your watch requires manufacturer-specific parts that we cannot source, we will let you know upfront.
Is there a warranty on the repair work?
Yes. All movement services carry a 12-month warranty covering the work performed. Cosmetic detailing and crown replacements each include their own warranty period, which we detail in the service receipt.
How much does it cost to have my watch assessed?
The initial assessment is complimentary. We will examine your watch, explain any issues we find, and provide a written quote before any work begins. You are under no obligation to proceed.
Can I wait while my watch is being detailed?
Cosmetic detailing is often completed within a single working day. While you are welcome to leave your watch with us in the morning and collect it later, we recommend calling ahead to confirm availability and turnaround.
Is my watch insured while in your care?
We maintain appropriate coverage for timepieces left with us. Each watch is logged, stored in our secured workspace, and tracked throughout the repair process. We take the responsibility of holding your watch seriously.
